TEXT>DRAW
=========

version 1.01, 2nd November 1993

 Chris Johnson, 1993

This application was written in response to a
plea from Brian Cowan in an issue of Archive
magazine for a simple utility to convert text into
a draw object, and is meant for use with RISC OS
3 only.

Text>Draw is NOT public domain, but remains the
copyright of Chris Johnson.

This version (1.0) of Text>Draw has been released
for distribution by Norwich Computer Services
ONLY. If the application is passed on to anyone
else, then all of the files should be included
unchanged.

To run the application, simply double click on
its icon, whereupon it will install on the
iconbar. Clicking on the iconbar icon will open
the main window. Full help is available from the
application, both via the resident !Help
application of RISC OS 3, and from the application
menu, available by clicking the MENU button when
over the iconbar icon, or the main window.

When run for the first time, the trinity font
family will be used as default. However, this can
be changed, and new defaults created once the
program is running. When using RISC OS 3 fonts
which have kerning tables, then the draw file
produced will have kerned text if that option is
set.

The author can be contacted at the following
address, and will always welcome comments or
suggestions for improvements or enhancements.
Registering as a user of the software will enable
you to be kept informed of any major changes to
the application (please enclose sufficient to
cover the cost of postage if you require a reply).
